Distance: 6.2 miles / 10.0 km

This route is not for the faint of heart as it contains some of the longest hills in Brackley, including the High Street, Humphries Drive, Turweston Road and Buckingham Road.

Directions

  • Start at Brackley Leisure Centre and run towards Pavillons Way, turning right, heading down hill
  • Continue to the end of Pavillions Way and turn left to head along Banbury Road
  • Turn right and run up Humphries Drive, then onto Poppyfields Way
  • At the end of Poppyfields Way, continue along Northampton Road, then take the turning downhill at the roundabout onto Turweston Road
  • Run up the hill into Turweston and then turn right heading past the Church
  • At the end of the lane, follow the footpath under the A43 Brackley Bypass and then turn left, exiting into Mill Lane
  • Turn right and run up Buckingham Road, then cross and the crossing point on the High Street, turning left and running downhill, past the Town Hall
  • Turn right onto Banbury Road, following it all the way to Pavillons Way
  • Follow Pavillons way back up the hill and turn left back towards the Leisure Centre
